Just finished having lunch with Michael Chambers, CEO of Cisco Systems, and it gave me a lot to think about. He is involved in a great deal of very interesting projects worldwide, and is one of the first "leaders" I have come accross who seems to understand the impact of cultural ideology on the success of that country's economy and society. One thing the lunch/meeting really made me consider is whether I really do want to go into some actual industry or not - or whether I should try my hand at educational reform at the philosophical level.
Either way, it was much more interesting than I expected...
But I still want to get the hell out of Japan!
